We believe people and their communities must be at the center of reproductive healthcare and contraceptive access.

About Us

At CORE, we believe sexual and reproductive healthcare, including access to contraception, must be rooted in equity, accessibility, and community voice. Founded by Angie Fellers LeMire, our team brings decades of clinical, public health, and training expertise to transform contraceptive care. We equip providers and partners with the tools and training needed to expand access and uphold reproductive health as a fundamental human right.

CORE is a training, technical assistance (TTA) and coaching provider committed to advancing three interconnected strategies to strengthen sexual and reproductive health (SRH) equity through systems change:

  • Provide community centered contraceptive care, ensuring services reflect the voices, values, and priorities of the people they serve.

  • Build sustainable practices and systems, supporting long-term, equitable access through infrastructure and workforce development, and revenue improvement.

  • Deliver person-centered, inclusive clinical care, fostering care environments where every person is seen, heard, and respected.

Angie is the Principal and Cofounder of CORE, bringing over two decades of contraceptive access, clinical, public health, and health systems expertise. She began her career in 1998 at Denver Health Medical Center and holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Women’s Health focus from the University of Colorado. In her roles as a Project Director, Nurse Consultant and Senior Technical Advisory, Angie has led the development of numerous agency-level and statewide contraceptive, clinical and public health initiatives. Her experience spans developing and implementing provider training curriculum, translating national guidelines into practice, bridging the gap between policy, advocacy and clinical implementation, and leading multi-year clinical quality improvement projects. Her work is grounded in cultural humility, justice and equity-focused engagement with frontline health professionals and communities. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Public Health Association and The Queue, where she continues to champion contraceptive access for all, public health nursing leadership, rural healthcare access, and the advancement of interdisciplinary workforce development. She is active in several coalitions and collaboratives, including Family Planning Access for All Coloradans (FPAAC).

When Angie is not working, she can be found roaming our national parks with her husband and daughters or at her family’s farm in Northern Minnesota planting peony bulbs and hoping to learn the sport of skijoring.
